Create your professional profile
Use your legal personal name or your real company name, add an accurate photo and description, select only services you are qualified to perform, and upload examples of work you have permission to show.
Verification
Identity documents are reviewed privately by the platform administrator. Approval allows the account to offer services, but it does not replace any trade license, permit, insurance, bond, background check or other requirement that applies to the professional or job.
How leads work
Standard leads show open marketplace requests in the professional’s saved service areas. A Direct Lead is delivered personally to the customer’s selected professional and is shown to that professional only in Direct Leads; other qualified professionals may still see the request as a Standard Lead in All Leads. Shared Leads are invitations sent to a disclosed group of two or three professionals so the customer can compare a small group. Matching may consider service, ZIP code, distance, availability and verification.
A professional who has authorized lead-fee payments is charged the displayed one-time Direct Lead fee automatically when the customer’s direct request is successfully delivered. That charge unlocks the customer contact and protected chat; accepting the job does not create a second charge. A Shared Lead uses the lower standard lead price and is charged separately to each professional who accepts it. Declining or not responding to a Shared Lead creates no charge.
A lead fee pays for access to an opportunity; it does not guarantee that the customer will hire the professional or that the parties will agree on price or scope.
Availability and response
Set the account Online only when accepting new work. Use Offline for a chosen period when unavailable. Respond honestly, avoid pressure, and update the job status when the parties agree, work begins, work is completed, or no agreement is reached.
Independent business responsibility
Professionals decide how to operate their own businesses and are responsible for estimates, contracts, work methods, tools, helpers, transportation, taxes, insurance, permits, safety and the quality and legality of their services. Calling a professional “independent” does not override worker-classification law or the facts of a particular relationship.
